Artweeks 2025!

The sun is out, and we're gearing up for this year's Artweeks exhibition. It's my second year exhibiting, and we're building on the success of last year (I hope!) with more stuff to show, more confidence, and more of the good vibes!

If you're here, you already know about me, but let me tell you a little more about my fellow exhibitors this year:

FREDDY PASKE - Painting & Sculpture

Freddy is an award-winning wildlife artist, celebrated for his vibrant and expressive paintings of the animal kingdom. His mastery lies in his unique technique of layering oil paint over bold, abstracted backgrounds. Using methods like spraying, scraping, smashing, and splattering paint, he creates a kaleidoscopic surface that serves as the perfect backdrop for his subjects. Many of his works are inspired by his travels, where he has observed the interplay of light in exotic locations. He focuses on highlighting just the key details, allowing the colourful background to shine through. Freddy's art has been collected by royals, celebrities, and art dealers worldwide. In 2022, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth Il appointed him as her Artist-in-Residence for the Platinum Jubilee.

YVETTE PHILLIPS - Textiles & Embroidery

Yvette combines vintage fabrics with intricate hand embroidery to create boldly coloured and visually striking works of art. Her pieces range from small, finely detailed embroidered works to large-scale collages, each showcasing a rich and diverse palette of colours, patterns, and textures. Her work is deeply inspired by her love of nature and the natural world. She views her subjects through a romantic lens, seeking to imbue them with life, individual character, and a harmonious blend of colour combinations that resonate, as well as a distinct sense of atmosphere. At its core, her work celebrates the magical beauty of nature.

They're both amazing, and together we are putting on a festival of colour for you, in three different media.

We'd love you to come along, and we've got a few surprises in store too! So keep in touch either here, or on Instagram.
