This is the most complicated piece I make.  It's comprised of three separate pieces which are hand thrown - the body, the lid and the spout - and a hand-pulled handle.

Handmade pottery is perfectly imperfect, or imperfectly perfect, whichever way you look at it.

Multiple plates of the same size category will be pretty much the same, but not identical, like from a cast, mould or machine.

Glazing is sometimes an unpredictable animal. There may be slight colour variations between batches, but glazing coverage will be complete and food safe.

It's standard practice not to glaze the base of the item. (It messes up the kiln!)

I can only refund you if the item is cracked, or has a hole in the glaze.

If you're ordering multiple items, I'll check you're happy with the pieces before I glaze them.
